Keep your debit card safe when travelling abroad tis summer. We’ve got some tips on what you can do to keep your Current Account and Debit Mastercard safe:

1. Notify your Credit Union of your travel dates and destinations to avoid suspicious activity blocks
2. Enable Transaction Alerts through your CU mobile app to monitor your account activity in real time
3. Avoid public Wi-Fi for banking, don’t access online banking or enter card details over unsecured public Wi-Fi
4. Report lost / stolen debit cards immediately to +353 1 6933 333 or use your CU mobile app to freeze your card as soon as possible.
5. Have backup payment methods, carry a second card or some local cash in case your main card is lost or blocked.
